For all sorts of reasons, life can become overwhelming.

Counselling can make a difference.

You might be feeling constantly stressed - about everyday life, about work, school or college, about family, or relationships which aren’t working.

You may be depressed or isolated. You may have everything, but sense that something is missing.

Perhaps you are feeling unfulfilled and adrift. Or stuck, not knowing which way to turn.

I offer one-to-one counselling in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment

Sophy Chetwood is a fully-qualified BACP humanistic counsellor based in West Sussex.

General counselling

I support individuals through depression, anxiety, stress, loss, bereavement, lack of self-confidence, relationship and family issues, problems at work, addiction, bullying, OCD and other issues.

To schedule your first session, please contact Sophy by phone or email.

Young People

I listen to young people about what’s going on in their lives and give them hope and the tools to change things for the better.

Couples

I work with couples who may have started communicating through anger, silence and resentment.

Addiction

I support people who are trying to give up an addiction or substance dependency. I also help couples where one person is an addict.

“Using my experience I can help you to find ways to feel more positive, to move forward and to have hope for the future.”

When life’s experiences seem overwhelming, I can support you in making sense of them. I can help you to gain insight into who you are and why you feel and behave in certain ways.

And, if appropriate, I can help you to change and to find ways of leading a happier and more fulfilled life.
